The book I read was Stupid is forever more 2 authored by the infamous Miriam Defensor Santiago.

This book is actually the second book of Mrs. Miriam after publishing 350,000 copies of her first book.

I have read the first book of Miriam and all I can say was “Epic” Her first book was a hit for me, might as well because of her humor that dives me laughing all night.While reading the book I expected the same impact of the book that will leave a mark on your laughing neurons but then it was not what I assumed.

I wanted to criticize it at first.I noticed many things such as the originality of the context,composition and the verbs that was used.. let us start in the originality of the context.

Some of the jokes that was written in the book was not originally her joke.. For example “Bulaklak kaba? paa mo kasi maugat” that joke is a very definition of old timers last breath of joke..one more “ straw kaba? sipsip kana nga, plastic kapa.” that joke is like loving your bestfriend and every time she throws a very predictable joke you just laugh super hard so she wont notice shes really bad at it .

Its funny but where is the originality ? also in the context of the book it was said in the back that this book is good for all ages but it doesn't say good for all mentality. I noticed that Miriam kept using complicated words such as contemptuous,dyspepsia,discombobulated, and many more, My friend sometimes asks me what is the meaning of this and that” its very irritating.

Over all it was good to read and still can make you laugh, smirk and smile .

It was a good experience for me and a tribute to the great Miriam Santiago.
